Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA – Developer

The HID IT Development team is looking for an outstanding engineer / developer to work as part of a tightly integrated project based organization. The team will be developing, integrating with and deploying new systems based on Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g platform and other industry standard tools and product suites.

Job description

• Work with Business unit, engineering and 3rd party resources – teams to design, develop and enhance; end to end system solutions based on the Oracle 11g platform. Webservices, SOA-BPEL workflows, Oracle Enterprise service bus and Oracle databases. It will be necessary to interface with existing HID Oracle systems, Agile, eBusiness suite, Oracle & other database platforms & legacy applications.
• Design, develop and implement SOA BPEL workflow based applications, Webservices and functions.
• Assist in the design, feasibility, demonstration & implementation of new scalable workflow based systems for HID business use.
• Provide recommendations for and assist in the implementation of SOA governance process for HID SOA based systems created as part of these development projects.
• Examples of workflows and Applications include:

o Secure webservice connectivity between HID and its B2B customer systems for numerous types of fully automated business transactions.
o Product Tracking and lifecycle management during the manufacturing process and beyond.
o Integration with Existing HID legacy applications and services via workflows to automate the internal processes.
o Designing and implementation of new workflows for interactive web based applications.
o Secure upload – download of files, and secure datasets via portal and web based applications.
o Automated electronic Approval processes workflows
o Comprehensive Workflow integration with Oracle Ebusiness suite, Agile and databases (Oracle 11g, Mysql, SQL server), for specific business unit program implementations.
o Automated emailing, auditing of transactions and reporting.
o Development and deployment of webservice ESB (Enterprise service bus) based hosted applications, including: cryptographic services, .NET modules, Serialization, data mapping and scrubbing, image processing, card management, etc.

• Provide that all source code and system documentation will be adequately commented and archived utilizing the Seapine SCM system and other SCCS systems provided by HID.
• Develop testing scripts, applications and procedures for QA and verification of the workflows and system modules. Using these tools the developer will work with HID engineering to verify complete system functionality, security, robustness and performance in various production environment scenarios.
• Work with HID engineering and IT, to develop training materials and documentation appropriate for internal and external parties, for all applications.
• Provide training for and assist in the transition of the new projects and programs from development to the production environment. Including enterprise system Configuration and Customization, system Testing, system Rollout and documentation.

Applicant qualifications

• Minimum BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Desired Masters Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Training in Oracle 11g – Weblogic suite products or equivalent enterprise level tools
• Languages: C, C++, Java, Java J2EE, Java / Javascript / JSP, BPEL
• Web Services (SOAP, WSDL), JSF, XML, XSL, XSD, Xpath
• Operating System: RedHat or other Linux Experience, MS Windows
• Oracle application server, Oracle Weblogic server, Apache Tomcat
• Oracle Webservice manager and security
• Oracle FMW (Fusion Middleware) development tools for BPEL, JAVA, JDeveloper,
• Oracle SOA Suite ADF, BPM, WebLogic
• Oracle enterprise service bus (ESB).
• Enterprise application integration with Oracle eBusiness Suite, Databases, APIs and file based repositories, Oracle BPEL adapters
• SOA governance and the setup and the administration of Oracle SOA environment
• 5+ years of experience working with (installing, maintaining and developing Oracle / Weblogic BPEL – SOA based middle ware systems, webservice and applications on enterprise level tools.
• Desire and Ability to work effectively and contribute as part of a fast moving technical and business unit team.
• Experienced in full SDLC (Software development life cycle) which includes System / Information Engineering, Software Requirements gathering, Systems Analysis and Design, Code Generation, Testing, implementation, maintenance and documentation.
• Familiarity with .NET
• Database familiarity: Oracle 10 – 11g, SQL, PL/SQL, T/SQL, SQL Server 2005, mySQL
• SAML 2.0 based – Authentication services
• Unified User Profiles (UUP), Delegated Admin, Visitor Entitlements, LDAP
• Data processing and delivery for smartcards or other intelligent devices using web based applications / systems.
• Web, Web 2.0 mobile device client / server application development
• Familiarity with:
o Oracle - Weblogic Content Management
o Oracle - Weblogic Portal / Application development
