Doors with glazed panels are inherently less secure than solid doors, hence the need for the right security solution. Laminated glass offers much greater resistance than ordinary or toughened glass. French doors or French windows are intrinsically less secure than single leaf doors. However  this does not have to be the case provided that suitable measures are taken.
