The security on interconnecting doors like those between the garage and a door leading into the home, is important. A higher security lock and additional security should be used on such doors.

The security levels of internal doors do not usually have to be so high as those leading to the outside of the home. Here design and the aesthetic aspect of the handles etc. could be of greater interest to match the style of your home.
