A Range of Safes from Yale

Press release 2006-08-24 by yalelock.com_uk

July 2006

Every year in the UK 100,000 people are affected by identity theft, which in turn costs the UK economy an estimated £1.7billion per year. Victims of fraud then spend over £500 and take on average 14 months to clear their name. Storing documents, passports and other valuables in a safe is one way of preventing this from happening to you.

Yale has a range of electronic and key operated safes to enable belongings to be stored securely.  Electronic safes, including a medium-sized safe, a laptop safe and a large, fire safe are all available within the range. These all have electronic keypads with LCD displays and are operated using a programmable code of up to 8 digits. Bolts are supplied to enable fixing to floors or walls. All of them are battery operated but have a manual override function for which keys are supplied.

Yale manual safes provide another option for those who prefer to keep things simple. The key operated under floor safe, which can be bolted to joists under floor boards is the perfect hideaway for treasured possessions.  Alternatively if you are looking for a portable safe, the Yale fire resistant document case with its carry handle is ideal. Where keeping cash safe is an issue, the portable cash box is fit for the purpose.

Safes from the range are available from Homebase, Argos and Focus stores.
