Yale launches its Home Monitor and Alarm System

Press release 2005-10-27 by Yale UK

The launch of the new Yale alarm system in July this year, represents a big leap forward in wirefree alarm technology. Yale is a well established brand in wirefree alarm systems with alarm kits which satisfy the needs of the individual living alone to a large family.

The telecommunicating alarm kit from Yale allows the alarm to call up to six telephone numbers in the event of the alarm being activated. The innovative, web based Yale Home Monitor and Alarm system including a control panel, siren box, 2 passive infra red detectors, 2 door contacts, a smoke and flood detector offers even more advanced features.  Like the passive infra red detectors and door contacts, the smoke and flood detectors will set off the siren if fire or water is detected in the home.

With the web based alarm system the home owner can monitor events occurring in the home such as flood or fire and see who goes in and out of the home. It also has the capability to text, email and phone up to six people in the event of an alarm activation. With 6 contacts on the list, it is very unlikely that the message won’t be received by at least one person. Each message outlines the problem in hand, allowing the home owner or the other contacts to take appropriate action ensuring complete peace of mind.

The Home Monitor and Alarm system is available in Homebase stores at an RRP of £399.
